CGE York advances education for the public benefit in subjects relating to global issues within the City Of York, East Riding of Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. We achieve our charitable objects through a variety of activities, including:

- promoting racial harmony, equality and diversity through funded projects

Cumbria Development Education Centre (CDEC) has been working since 1984 to inspire young people and their teachers in Cumbria to engage with, understand and take responsibility, individually and together, for the world in which they live and contribute to making it a fair and sustainable place. We have done this by working in partnership with teachers and young people to provide opportunities and activities that encourage critical thinking and global awareness.

DECSY works with teachers and many others involved in education to promote a development and global perspective in the curriculum. DECSY staff specialise in Philosophy for Children, delivering SAPERE validated Level 1 and Level 2 training as open courses and as whole staff training in schools nationally and internationally. Our staff also have expertise in PSHE and Citizenship, SMSC, Gender Equality, Geography, History, Sustainability, Cultural Diversity and Inter-cultural understanding across EYFS, Primary and Secondary. We run curriculum development projects with teachers reflecting these diverse areas of learning.

Global Education Derby

Global Education Derby works together with young people, communities and educators to bring about personal, local and global change for a fairer, more sustainable world. We work in both formal and non formal education sectors, with youth work and school based activity.
Our core geographical area is Derbyshire but offer support to Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire schools in partnership with other local CPD providers.

Global Link’s mission statement is ‘Creative learning and action for a more just and sustainable world’. We deliver projects, workshops and training (CPD) in schools and the wider community, with both young people and adults. This includes bringing refugee visitors into schools, holding simulated European Parliament and United Nations conferences, delivering digital storytelling workshops and touring our our interactive multi-media ‘experience’ of asylum seeking Escape to Safety.
HEC Global Learning Centre, based in London, promotes the values, aims and principles of global learning through all areas of education. Working to support schools in Tower Hamlets and across London, we work collaboratively and as a part of wider networks to develop global learning in schools and communities.

The One World Centre has a regular pattern of work with schools which includes a Primary Short Film competition, a Fairtrade Conference for Primary schools, a Poetry Slam for Year 7 students and the One World Charity Challenge for Year 12 students. In addition we offer workshops, provide work experience and offer CPD on Global Learning (including the Global Teacher Award).
Each year we provide a Global Village on the Manx National Day, 5th July. This provides an opportunity for local charities that are working internationally to showcase their work. It also celebrates the wealth of diversity on the Island with food from different countries and displays of dancing, music and martial arts.
We look for new opportunities of raising awareness of global issues and have provided a wiki to enable people to upload their connections between the Isle of Man and the wider world.
